Aztec Sweet Herb

Lippia dulcis

Known by the Aztecs as “tzopelic xlhuitl,” the leaves of this famous herb are used as a sweetener much like stevia. Produces tiny white pom-pom flowers, and can be used as a subtle but attractive cascading addition to window boxes or as a perfect patio container plant.

Habit: Tender perennial groundcover to 6” tall, forms a laterally arching mound
