Common Mugwort/Moxa
Artemisia vulgaris
The silver foliage of mugwort is wonderful for adding visual contrast in the garden. Its high volatile oil content gives it a strong smell and a long list of medicinal qualities – including being used in the practice of moxibustion in Chinese medicine. It is also considered a dream herb – try placing some under your pillow to stimulate your nightly sojourns!
