Forsythia Sage
Salvia madrensis
One of the few sages with yellow flowers, which grow on spikes up to 18” long. Blooms fall through winter, just when you need some color in your garden and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees need nectar nourishment! Bright green foliage on strong columnar stems against butter-yellow flowers will wow even the most jaded gardener. Also, flowers hold well in a vase and are wonderful in large arrangements. We adore this one!
