This is a short-statured sprawling pineapple sage that is long blooming. It is the earliest and longest flowering of all the varieties of Salvia elegans and has a distinctive melon scent on top of the usual pineapple-y fragrance of this species. Yummy edible flowers and leaves are great in fruit salads or tea!
