An Italian heirloom that’s more tender than the typical green globe artichoke. These chokes are small and accented with purple. Can be cut in half and grilled and eaten without being pulled apart.

Hardiness: Disappears in Winter, and then re-blooms in the Spring

Habit: 3’ by 3’ herbaceous perennial, flowers to 6' tall
