Dominican Sage

A small sage that is fuzzy and soft and is redolent with the heady fruity scent of sclaerol – making it particularly useful in perfumery, cosmetics, and the production of a rare essential oil. Its candelabra branching is thought to have inspired the design of the menorah. It is a tough, drought resistant plant with silver-haired foliage and bright white flowers that seem to blaze, much like that of white-flowered clary sage.
