With soft velvety gray-green foliage and violet tubular blooms that emerge from furry, purple calyxes on dense flower spikes from late summer to fall. Mexican sage is a tough drought tolerant, sun and heat loving, reliable space-filling perennial that is considered to be deer resistant.
