Pyrethrum

Tanacetum coccineum

A pretty and cheerful plant that is tolerant of deer, drought, and salt. It produces masses of white, pale, or dark pink daisies over a long season which are attractive to butterflies. This plant is used to make the organic pesticide called Pyrethrum which is effective against leaf hoppers, spider mites, cabbage worms, and aphids.
