Red Valerian

Centranthus ruber

Also known as “Jupiter’s beard,” red valerian is an everblooming Old World wildflower with clusters of tiny dark pink flowers held over deep green foliage. A tough, durable plant, it thrives with minimal water and care once established. A great butterfly plant and deer resistant. Caution: this plant may become somewhat invasive.
