Sweet Marjoram

Origanum majorana

Commonly used in the cuisines of Greece and Italy, sweet marjoram is used similarly to oregano, but its flavour is delicate and milder than oregano, almost floral in taste. It can be used as a pizza herb, in tomato-based dishes, stews, soups, salads, and with grilled meats.

Hardiness: Frost Hardy, but tender when temperatures drop into the teens. Cut back in Winter.
