Watershed Map

What is a watershed? A watershed is all the land area that delivers runoff to a specific body of water. From it’s high ridges to its low valleys, it is a catch basin. A watershed is a living system, which includes all the biological and physical factors contained within its boundaries. There are watersheds within watersheds, creating smaller sub-watersheds.

This map was created by David Berman and Brock Dolman to showcase the Russian river watershed that the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center functions within. Understanding one’s watershed is a fundamental element of understanding one’s ecosystem.

This map is 17 1/2 in. X 11 1/2 in. and will come quarter folded.
