Pineapple Guava

Feijoa sellowiana

Grows delicious 2 to 3″ green, oval pineapple flavoured fruits that ripen in late November and are fantastic in fruit salads, chutneys, or baked into pies and tarts! Hummingbirds love the flowers that are edible and delicious to us as well! Flower petals are also edible and taste like some honeyed exotic tropical fruit. A wonderful multipurpose drought tolerant plant that is a standard in edible landscaping and a favorite fruit in the OAEC Kitchen!
