Tansy

Tanacetum vulgare

Tansy is an extravagant addition to the perennial border with its numerous sturdy stalks of generous gold button flowers, fabulous in both fresh and dried arrangements. Tansy has a long history of use and was first cultivated by the ancient Greeks for medicinal purposes, and is now used for a wide variety of indications, including killing parasites and for gall bladder conditions, migraines and joint pain.

Soil: Not picky, though looks best in rich garden soil
