Lavender Passion Flower

Passiflora 'Lavender Lady'

Vigorous climber with dusky lavender flowers to 4″ in diameter, adorned with a ring of violet-purple filaments followed by deep orange fruit that are hollow and unpalatable. Flowers are edible and very tasty, visited frequently by butterflies as well. A great candidate for walls, trellises, and arbors.

Water: Moderate, but drought tolerant once established

Hardiness: Frost Hardy

Habit: Vigorous grower vining to 30' tall

Light: Full Sun to Partial Shade

Soil: Loose, well-draining gravelly or sandy soil, light on amendments

Origin: A hybrid between P. amethystina and P. caerulea
