Lemon Thyme

Thymus citriodorus

A strong lemon aroma and taste distinguish this thyme from all the others, and can be used beautifully fresh with poultry, seafood, vegetables, marinades, stews, soups, sauces and stuffings, and fresh sprigs of this herb make a lovely garnish. The plant is highly ornamental as well, with its wide glossy dark green leaves and thousands of tiny purple flowers that draw in honeybees in droves. Makes a great container Plant, and is deer resistant to boot!
