
Tobago Seasoning’ Hot Pepper
Capsicum chinense
This pepper produces good yields of 2.5″ long by 1.25″ wide elongated habanero-type peppers that have a thick flesh that turns from light green, to orange, to red as it matures. Being medium hot, it is excellent for pickling and making salsa, hot sauce, and seasoning spice powder, and is commonly used in jerk sauce.

Hardiness: Frost Tender but will make it in Bay Area Winters if fully protected
Habit: Grows to 3' tall and 1' wide
